2) Tell someone you know ...

Now that you have began your new life in Jesus, it is important that you tell someone. it can be a friend, co-worker, or relative. the Good News is meant to be shared, and you have something good to tell; your whole life has changed!
 

Why should I tell someone?

Despite people's personal opinions, faith is not, and never has been a private matter. The Bible makes it very clear that your faith is meant to be shared, and that any shame at all in our decision for Jesus we have made is not a good thing. Consider the following verses:

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone." - Mark 16:15 (NLT)

"If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” - Mark 8:38 - (NLT)

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” - Acts 1:8 - (NLT)

You can see how important it is to share our faith! Sharing with others what God has done in your life is important for the growth of your relationship with God. When you share, just be genuine...you don't have to sound religious, just real.
