5) YOU have a destiny!

Maybe you have heard before, "God has a plan for your life". What does that mean? Even before you were born, God had a plan laid out for the course of your life. He created us, and therefore knows us better than we even know ourselves. The Bible says that He is a good Father, and only wants the best for His children. Why wouldn't it be a plan of good for your life? It is a plan for good, and he wants you to be fulfilled, successful, prosperous and happy. If you choose to follow His way, then these good things will follow you.
 

How to begin to fulfill your destiny ...

There are lots of steps in the journey to what the plan of God is for your life, but as the old Chinese Proverb says, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step". You can begin by putting your full trust and confidence in God in leading and directing your life. He will never lead you down a path of destruction or evil. God is already in your tomorrow!

Next, develop your sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life. The Bible says:

"Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help you and always be with you."  John 14:16 - (CEV)

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. - Romans 8:14 - (CEV)

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. - John 10:27 - (NLT)
