    Many people go through life trying their best to succeed, or trying to attain every earthly possession they can, wanting to be fulfilled but never reaching it. While these things are OK, they rarely ever produce "true" happiness, and if they do, it's only temporary...needing to be replaced again by something else. God loves you so much that He sent the only Son He had, Jesus Christ,  to die a terrible death, just so you could live an eternity with Him in heaven. There is a void in all of us, some call it a "God shaped hole", that only can be filled by One, and that One is Jesus. Look at the picture below to get an understanding of our separation and return to God:

     If you have tried all the earthly pleasures, but still are empty,  been successful, but not fulfilled, or maybe under so much despair or pain that you don't know where to turn, Jesus wants to come and give you a brand new life.  You can begin a new life in Christ right now! The Bible calls it being "born again" (John 3:3)...your past being forgiven and forgotten, and your life starting over. If you would like to receive this new life, and make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, you can do so by praying this prayer below. The Bible says "...confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved." (Romans 10:9). After you pray this prayer below, you can be assured through faith that you have been born again!

    Pray this: "Father in Heaven, I know that I can't be good enough to go to Heaven, only You can save me. I ask you right now to forgive all my sins, all the bad things in life I have done. I believe with all of my heart that your Son Jesus was raised from the dead, after He died on the cross for me. I turn from my past life, and now give you complete control over it. Thank you for saving me, and fill me with your Holy Spirit, so I may overcome temptation, and live a victorious life....In the name of Jesus Christ I pray this, Amen.

That's it! Rejoice now! You are a part of the family of God. The Bible says that the angels are rejoicing over your repentance (turning from your self-controlled life to a God-controlled life). The four most important things you can do now are:

1. Tell Someone! It is important that you "confess"...tell others about your new life in Christ.

2. Pray (communicate with God, just talk to Him, doesn't have to be a "religious" prayer).

3. Read the Bible. The only way you can learn how to overcome problems and trials is to read the Word that God has given us. It is like a "guidebook" for living.

4. Go to church. Get plugged in to a bible-believing, God loving church, and be faithful. You need the fellowship of other Christians .Christianity isn't a "Lone-Ranger" experience.
